Edition 2025 — Saint Peter's Feast

In 2025, the Patronal Feast of Saint Peter the Apostle took place from June 19th to 30th, organized by the Patronal Feast Committee chaired by Erika Greco, together with the municipal administration led by Mayor Lucia Argentieri. Among the most attended moments: the Matthra on June 27th, the procession on the 28th with mass presided over by Archbishop Michele Seccia, the grand brass band concert by the City of Manduria, the fireworks on the 29th, and the finale with Bundamuve and Friends.

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of San Pietro Vernotico confirmed its dual nature, religious and popular, over twelve days of events. On June 19th, the transfer of the statue opened the celebrations, followed by the evening novena (7:00 PM) until June 27th.

On June 27th, the Matthra (8:30 PM) drew citizens and visitors to the square for the free distribution of gnocchi with mussels, alongside the sawdust carpet on the church square and live shows. On June 28th, the solemn mass presided over by Archbishop Michele Seccia was followed by the procession with the Saint's statue, accompanied by the Alula Musical Association, and musical light displays featuring violinist Chiara Conte. In Piazza del Popolo, the Grand Brass Band Concert of the City of Manduria performed, directed by Maestro Antonio Errico Agnello. On June 29th, the patron saint's day, the street market and brass band concerts preceded the grand midnight fireworks. On June 30th, the festival closed with the musical evening "Bundamuve and Friends" and the awards ceremony for the best-decorated street.
