Patronal Feast of Saint Paulinus the Bishop in Mili Marina

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Saint Paulinus the Bishop confirmed the well-established formula that unites the seaside district of Mili Marina, in the Municipality of Messina, every year. The days of the festival alternated between the religious dimension—the recitation of the Holy Rosary, the novena of the saint, solemn vespers with the blessing of the bearers, and Eucharistic celebrations—and the most anticipated moment, the procession of the statue of Saint Paulinus through the village streets, carried by a large group of bearers.

Alongside the religious services, the evenings offered musical and variety shows, games for children, and tastings of local products along the village streets. Closing the festivities, as per tradition, were the fireworks over the sea of the Strait of Messina.
