Edition 2025 — Saint Nicholas the Pilgrim

The 2025 summer edition of the patronal feast took place from July 30 to August 4, under the theme «Pilgrims with the Pilgrim». Highlights included the main procession on August 3, the maritime procession toward the Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Colonna, the dawn fireworks display, «The Night of St. Nicholas», and the fireworks competition over the sea, in a Trani illuminated by lights and animated by concerts and food stalls.

The 2025 summer patronal feast, from July 30 to August 4, brought the entire Trani community to the streets under the theme «Pilgrims with the Pilgrim». The opening, on Friday, August 1 at 6:00 PM, was announced by bells and fireworks, followed in the evening by «The Night of St. Nicholas», blending spirituality, culture, and entertainment in the historic center.

On August 2, the Orthodox Divine Liturgy of Metropolitan Polykarpos was also celebrated, testifying to the ecumenical dimension of the feast. On Sunday, August 3, after the dawn fireworks and the solemn mass presided over by Archbishop Leonardo D'Ascenzo, the grand procession crossed the center at 8:00 PM. The heart of the festival was the maritime procession, with the sacred image embarked from the port and taken to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Colonna, and the «2nd Saint Nicholas the Pilgrim Trophy», the spectacular fireworks competition over the Adriatic.
