Patronal Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel

The feast of Saint Michael the Archangel is the main event of the year for Sant'Elena Sannita. In the 2025 edition, the community gathered on September 29th around its patron saint, with a solemn Mass and a procession of the statue along the village streets.

The celebration, deeply rooted in the Michaelite tradition of inland Molise, attracted faithful and emigrants, reaffirming itself as a moment of faith and fellowship for the entire village in the province of Isernia.

As per tradition, the 2025 program included a solemn Mass in honor of Saint Michael the Archangel and a procession of the saint through the streets of Sant'Elena Sannita.
