Edition 2025 — Saint Michael the Archangel
The 2025 Patronal Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel brought Gravina in Puglia to life from September 27th to 30th. September 29th, the liturgical day of the Archangel, was the heart of the festivities: from the early hours of the morning, the "Umberto Minervini" Brass Band of Santeramo paraded through the city streets, while solemn masses were held in the Co-Cathedral Basilica, culminating in the 7:00 PM celebration presided over by the Diocesan Archbishop, followed by the handing over of the city keys to the patron saint and the procession through the historic center.
The secular program was also rich: on September 27th, the "San Mich Sound" evening, an open-air disco with DJ sets in Piazza Pellicciari; on September 29th at 9:00 PM, a Vasco Rossi tribute concert by the Generale Street Band and, in Piazza Plebiscito, a concert by the symphony orchestra; on September 30th, a concert by Valerio Scanu with the "Sounds Cool" project. The festivities were completed by light displays, food stalls, and traditional fireworks.
