Edition 2025 — Saint Michael Feast
The 2025 Saint Michael the Archangel Feast
From September 20 to 29, 2025, the community of Croce Malloni, a village in Nocera Superiore in the province of Salerno, celebrated its patron saint with ten days of events. It began on Saturday, September 20th, with the recitation of the Angelic Crown at 6:45 PM and Holy Mass at 7:30 PM presided over by the parish priest, Father Giuseppe Perano.
In the following days, the novena was accompanied by Eucharistic celebrations presided over by various priests from the Nocera Inferiore-Sarno diocese and from outside the diocese. On Saturday, September 27th, the Mass was presided over by Father Raffaele Corrado, with the offering of oil for Saint Michael's votive lamp.
On Sunday, September 28th, at 4:00 PM, the procession with the saint's statue traveled through the main parish streets; in the evening, the Angelic Crown and the novena Mass were presided over by Father Francesco Amarante, followed at 11:30 PM by the Angelic Crown in the ancient church, awaiting the midnight chimes. On Monday, September 29th, the patron's day, Solemn Masses at 8:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 7:00 PM concluded the festivities.
On the civil side, the food festival featuring traditional local dishes was held on September 26th, 27th, and 28th in the parish spaces.
