2025 Patronal Feast in Minervino Murge
The 2025 Patronal Feast was held from September 25th to 30th. The opening on Thursday, the 25th, featured the procession of the effigy of Our Lady of the Sabbath from the Church of the Conservatory to the Mother Church, with a stop in Piazza Bovio and Holy Mass. Friday and Saturday were marked by the preparatory triduum with adoration and vespers.
The religious highlight was Monday, September 29th, the liturgical feast of the Holy Archangels, with the Pontifical Mass presided over by the Bishop of Andria, Monsignor Luigi Mansi, solemn vespers, and the solemn procession accompanied by the "G. Verdi" band of Canosa. On Sunday the 28th, the town was already animated by the Bassa Musica of Molfetta and an evening featuring Onde Radio Italia and cabaret by Santino Caravella.
On the civic side, the climax arrived on Tuesday, September 30th: after the return procession of the Patrons and the "Sparten'z" rite, Piazza Bovio hosted a concert by Ivana Spagna, followed at midnight by the grand final fireworks display. Musical events also included the "Ricchi e Poveri Tribute".
