Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Mercurius
The 2025 Patronal Feast of Saint Mercurius the Martyr confirmed the strong bond between Serracapriola and its co-patron saint. The festivities began on September 4 with the Santa Rosalia Fair, featured religious rites, the procession, band concerts, and fireworks, and concluded with the highly anticipated Palio delle Contrade on Sunday, September 7.
Nine districts participated in the challenge with their jockeys: A' Vullène, U' Castell, Cav d'Arén, For' a Pòrt, A' Grépp, I Franceschèn, U' Cummènt, Porta Bianchini, and D'Agnone. The draw for the heats was held at noon at Palazzo Arranga, and the race took place in the late afternoon, preceded by the historical pageant along Corso Garibaldi and a falconry show, in a day of great popular participation in the heart of the Apulian village.
