Edition 2025 — Saint Martin Feast
Saint Martin Feast 2025 in Taviano
The 2025 Patronal Feast of Saint Martin of Tours was held in Taviano from Monday, November 10th to Wednesday, November 12th, enlivening Piazza San Martino and Piazza del Popolo. The program combined the religious dimension, with the solemn procession of the patron saint, with popular and musical events.
The stars were the grand brass band concerts: the "Gran Concerto Bandistico Città di Taviano - Aure" (November 10th and 12th) and the "Gran Concerto Bandistico Luciano Vinelka" from Castellana (November 11th). Along the streets of the center, the food and wine trail featured new wine, roasted chestnuts, and traditional Salento dishes, while the fireworks display lit up the evening of November 11th.
The final evening on November 12th featured Antonio Amato, voice of the Notte della Taranta, on stage, preceded by Giuseppe Toma. Framing the festival were the light displays by "Illumina" of Micolani Rocco, the floral works of the Taviano Flower Festival, the market fair, and the funfair.
