Patronal Feast of Saint Leucio the Bishop

The 2025 edition of the feast of Saint Leucio in Pietracamela took place in July, following the tradition of the second Sunday, in the village near Teramo at the foot of the Gran Sasso. The celebration was organized by the Pietracamela Pro Loco in collaboration with the parish.

The central moment was the solemn mass in honor of the patron saint, accompanied by the Canzano brass band, followed by the procession of the statue of Saint Leucio the Bishop through the characteristic stone alleys of the historic center. The festival confirmed the community's deep bond with its patron saint and the parish church, which had been reopened for worship the previous year after long years of closure following the 2009 earthquake.
