Edition 2025 — Saint Ignatius Feast in Statuario
The 2025 patronal feast in Statuario
From October 14th to 17th, 2025, the parish of Saint Ignatius of Antioch, on Via Squillace in Rome, celebrated its patron according to the traditional scheme. The Ignatian triduum was held in the three days preceding the solemnity, with evening Eucharistic celebrations accompanied by a series of homilies dedicated to the theme «The Holy Spirit: principle of unity, truth, and testimony».
On October 17th, the day of the liturgical memorial of the holy bishop and martyr, the community gathered for the procession and for the High Mass, the culminating moment of the festival. The celebration took on a special value for fourteen young people from the neighborhood who received Confirmation there, in the presence of families and parish groups.
In the same month, the parish proposed other community initiatives, including the Caritas food drive and the Jubilee pilgrimage to the Holy Door of Saint John Lateran together with the parishes of the 21st Prefecture. All festival celebrations were free of charge.
