Edition 2025 — Saint George Feast
In 2025, the community of Prizzi once again honored its patron Saint George the Martyr on April 23rd. The day opened with the festive ringing of bells and the parade of drummers through the historic center, followed by the Eucharistic celebration and sung mass at the Mother Church. In the evening, after the Holy Mass, the saint's statue was carried in procession through the village streets, accompanied by the brass band and a crowd of the faithful, with traditional fireworks to close the event. Concurrently, the Saint George Fair, the first of the historic livestock fairs organized every year by the town, was held at the Foro Boario in the Zachia district.
