Edition 2025 — Saint Fermina

In 2025, Amelia also celebrated its patron saint, Saint Fermina, from November 22nd to 24th, with the main celebration on the 24th. After the three-day preparation, the day combined solemn Masses in the Cathedral with the historical re-enactment, featuring the procession of the districts in 14th-century costumes, the ox-drawn cart, and the offering of candles by the mayors.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Fermina in Amelia confirmed the annual event that celebrates the city's patron saint on November 24th. After the three-day preparation period on November 22nd and 23rd, the main day alternated religious celebrations in the Cathedral with the historical re-enactment.

As per tradition, the historical pageant of the districts in 14th-century costumes accompanied the ox-drawn cart through the historic center, while the mayors renewed the ancient rite of weighing and offering candles according to the Statutes of 1346. Flag-wavers and musicians animated the squares, and the market, food stalls, and live music completed the festival, promoted by the Pro Loco of Amelia, in the province of Terni.
