Edition 2025 — Martano Patronal Feast
The 2025 Patronal Feast
The 2025 edition of the Martano patronal feast took place during the week of Ferragosto, celebrating the town's two patron saints: Saint Dominic of Guzmán on August 8th and the Blessed Virgin of the Assumption on August 14th and 15th. The historic center was illuminated by traditional artistic lights, while the streets were filled with stalls and stands featuring typical Salento products.
A central moment was the procession of the statue of the Madonna of the Assumption along the decorated streets, accompanied by marching bands and the faithful. The evenings offered concerts and folk shows in the square, with the festival concluding with a fireworks display. The Mother Church of Santa Maria Assunta hosted religious celebrations and moments of community devotion.
