Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Contard

In 2025, Broni also celebrated its patron saint Saint Contard with a week of festivities: a funfair, food stalls, and entertainment in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, combined with the traditional religious dimension that engages the community of the Oltrepò Pavese every year.

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Contard confirmed the importance of this event for Broni and the Oltrepò Pavese. Amidst the funfair, food stalls, and events in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the town renewed its bond with its patron saint, an Este prince who died in Broni in the 12th century during a pilgrimage. The feast brought together devotion, conviviality, and entertainment, involving families and visitors for several days of celebration.
