The celebrations in his honor do not end in a single day but extend throughout most of the month, making November the month of Rovato's festival.
Between Faith and Honors
The religious heart of the feast is the solemn Mass celebrated by the Bishop of Brescia in the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta. Alongside the liturgical dimension, there is the civic one: an extraordinary session of the Municipal Council with the awarding of the highest civic honors, including the gold medals of the Lion, the highest civic recognition, and homage to the historic commercial activities of the territory.
Luna Park, Gastronomy, and Tradition
The feast also has a popular and festive soul. The Luna Park of San Carlo is set up at the Foro Boario, with rides, events, entertainment, and stalls selling local typical products. And throughout November, the city's restaurants offer special menus dedicated to Manzo all'Olio De.Co., the signature dish of Rovato's tradition, recognized as a Municipal Designation.
