In May 2025, the village of Brienza renewed its devotion to its patron saint Saint Catald the Bishop with the main day on May 10th: pontifical mass, solemn procession with the saint's statue through the streets of the historic center, and moments of prayer, following the tradition that links Brienza to Taranto.
