Edition 2025 — Saint Blaise Maratea
In 2025 too, Maratea celebrated its patron saint Saint Blaise with traditional religious rites, a procession through the historic center, and musical events in the square, confirming the feast as one of the most cherished moments of the year for the Lucanian community.
The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Blaise renewed the bond between Maratea and its patron saint. The solemn procession traversed the alleys of the historic center amidst the participation of the faithful, while Piazza Buraglia and other village spaces hosted moments of music and entertainment. The feast confirmed its ability to unite the religious and popular dimensions, attracting residents and visitors from all over Basilicata.
