Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony Feast in Ruffano

In June 2025, Ruffano renewed the feast of its patron Saint Anthony of Padua with the Tredicina of prayers and the festivities on June 13th. The solemn procession of the silver statue, the kissing of the relic, and the distribution of the Saint's bread united the community, amidst religious rites, illuminations, brass bands, and fireworks in the Salento historic center.

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Saint Anthony of Padua confirmed the centrality of the cult in the life of Ruffano, in the lower Salento area of Lecce. The Tredicina marked the days leading up to the feast, which culminated on June 13th with solemn masses in the Mother Church and the procession of the 1791 silver statue through the streets of the town.

As per tradition, the day concluded with the kissing of the Relic and the distribution of Saint Anthony's bread, while the historic center, lit by illuminations, hosted brass band concerts, folk music, and a fireworks display, in a blend of faith and popular celebration that attracts families and visitors to the town every year.
