Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony Nociglia

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua took place in Nociglia on August 20, 21, and 22. Three days of faith and celebration that brought together the community and returning emigrants: holy mass and a solemn procession with the statue of the Saint through the streets of the center, illuminations lighting up the village streets, brass band concerts and pop music in the squares, ending with the traditional final fireworks display.

Saint Anthony of Padua 2025 in Nociglia

From August 20 to 22, 2025, the village of Nociglia, in the Province of Lecce, celebrated its patron Saint Anthony of Padua with the traditional summer festival, moved from June 13th to the third week of August to allow for the return of many Nociglia emigrants.

The program alternated between religious and civil moments: liturgical celebrations in the Mother Church, the solemn procession with the statue of the Saint accompanied by the band and followed by the faithful, illuminations lighting up the historic center, brass band concerts, and musical performances in the square. The grand finale was entrusted to the fireworks, which concluded three days of great popular participation.
