Patronal Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua confirmed the deep devotion of Cutrofiano (province of Lecce) to its patron saint. Around June 13th, the Saint's liturgical day, the town came alive with the usual program of religious and civil celebrations.

The solemn procession with the statue of the Saint departed from the Mother Church of Santa Maria della Neve, traveling through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by holy masses and the symbolic handing over of the city keys. The illuminations, brass band performances, food stands, and fireworks completed a festival that renews the identity and sense of community of the Salento village every year.
