Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

In 2025, the Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua brought Castrignano de' Greci to life for three days, from August 22 to 24. The Grecìa Salentina village celebrated its patron saint with the procession of the saint's statue, street illuminations, brass band concerts, and Salento folk music, culminating in a final fireworks display. The symbolic handing over of the town keys to the parish priest, the ritual heart of the feast, was also held.

The 2025 edition of the patronal Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua took place in Castrignano de' Greci on August 22, 23, and 24, spanning three days of religious and secular events. The community gathered around the procession of the saint's statue along the streets of the historic center, illuminated by traditional lights.

The evenings featured brass band concerts, folk music, and performances in the square, while food stalls offered the flavors of Salento. The feast concluded with a fireworks display, renewing in 2025 the bond of devotion that has linked Castrignano de' Greci to its patron saint since the miracle of 1898.
