Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua
The 2025 Edition
In 2025, the community of Bolognetta once again renewed its devotion to its patron saint, Saint Anthony of Padua. On June 13th, the day of the liturgical feast, solemn masses were held in the Mother Church dedicated to Maria SS. del Carmelo, followed by the procession of the Saint's statue along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Via Romano, Via Diaz, and Via Roma, accompanied by the band and the faithful.
The festivities continued on the second Sunday of August, as part of the Bolognetta Summer, featuring the characteristic Vulata di L'Ancili - the flight of the angels with two girls suspended on the cables of Via Roma singing the hymn to the Saint - and the performance "The Life of Saint Anthony of Padua - Moving Human Tableaux" in Piazza Matrice, with living tableaux animated by the town's residents.
