Edition 2025 — Patronal Feast of Scurcola Marsicana
The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Scurcola Marsicana took place in conjunction with the feast day of Saint Anthony of Padua, on June 13. A Solemn Holy Mass was celebrated in the parish church, followed by the procession that accompanied the statues of Saint Anthony and Saint Vincent Ferrer through the streets of the historic center, amidst prayer and popular participation.
The religious rites were accompanied by secular events: live music, folkloric shows, and food stalls featuring dishes from Marsica cuisine and local wines, in a festive atmosphere that involved both adults and children. An event that confirmed the vitality of the devotional tradition of this village in inland Abruzzo.
