Patronal Feast of Saint Agatha

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Agatha renewed the devotion to the Virgin and Martyr patron saint of the town in Marcignago. The early February days alternated Holy Masses, the solemn mass, and vespers with the procession of the statue through the town streets, culminating in the blessing of seeds and agricultural machinery in front of the church, a rite linked to the agricultural vocation of the Pavia plain. The town band and choir accompanied the celebrations, confirming the feast as one of the community's most cherished moments.
