Patronal Feast of Saint Agatha in Monticello Brianza

In 2025, Monticello Brianza celebrated its patron saint Saint Agatha at the beginning of February. The community gathered for the solemn Mass in the church dedicated to the saint, a central moment of a festival deeply tied to the town's identity.

The traditional rite of the beacon was also held, with the burning of the balloon recalling the saint's martyrdom: a symbolic gesture where fire represents life given, love, and the light of faith. A tradition that continues to unite devotion and belonging for the Brianza community.
