Edition 2025 — Our Lady of Mount Carmel
On July 16th, 2025, the village of Gallicchio celebrated its patron saint, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, with a solemn Mass, a procession of the statue through the village streets, and evening civil celebrations enlivened by music and Lucanian flavors.
The 2025 edition of the feast took place as every year on July 16th, confirming the strength of a popular devotion rooted for generations. From the solemn Mass to the procession of the statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel along the streets of the historic center, to the evening celebration in the square with music and gastronomic stands, the day brought together the community and emigrants who returned for the occasion.
