Edition 2025 — Our Lady of Mount Carmel — Campomaggiore
In 2025, Campomaggiore also celebrated its patroness, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, with the novena, the parade of the districts' Candles, and the solemn procession on July 16th, during which the votive women followed the statue barefoot, singing the hymn to the Virgin.
The 2025 edition of the patronal feast confirmed the vitality of a tradition deeply rooted in the community of Campomaggiore. From the novena in early July to the parade of the Candles on the 15th, culminating in the procession on the 16th with the barefoot votive women, the village renewed its devotional bond with Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the town's protectress since its foundation and guardian of the memory of the 1885 landslide.
