Patronal Feast of Maria SS.ma Assunta and Saint Roch

The 2025 edition of the Rignano Garganico patronal feast, in the heart of the Gargano in the province of Foggia, followed the village's traditional calendar. On August 15th, the day of the Assumption, and August 16th, the day of Saint Roch, the community gathered around its two patrons.

The most intense moment was the procession with the statues of Santa Maria Assunta and Saint Roch through the town streets, accompanied by the hymns and prayers of the faithful. On August 16th, at 11:00 AM, the solemn Eucharistic Celebration was held in Piazza San Rocco.

Surrounding the religious rites were the traditional events: the brass band concert, artistic illuminations, food stalls with typical Apulian cuisine, craft markets, and fireworks displays at the end of the evenings.
