Patronal Feast of Maria SS di Corsignano

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 Patronal Feast of Maria SS di Corsignano enlivened Giovinazzo throughout the month of August, with the core of the celebrations focused on the liturgical memorial of the patron saint on August 19th.

Musical highlights included: on August 18th, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, a performance by the Brass Orchestra of the "Filippo Cortese" music school, followed by fireworks; on August 19th, a concert by the Grand Orchestra "G. Ligonzo" of Conversano in the bandstand; on August 20th, a tribute to Ennio Morricone by the "Biagio Abate" Orchestra; and on August 21st, a concert by Paolo Belli and his Big Band.

The event also featured the solemn procession of the effigy through the historic center, the traditional Historical Pageant by the Pro Loco, and a photographic exhibition of the festival in the Church of S. Maria di Costantinopoli. The event reaffirmed the strong bond between the Giovinazzo community and its protector.
