Patronal Feast of Maria SS. delle Grazie

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Maria SS. delle Grazie in Palagianello reached its peak on Easter Monday, April 21. The community of the small town in the Province of Taranto gathered around its Patron Saint to renew a deeply rooted devotion.

The solemn Eucharistic celebration, presided over by the Bishop of the Diocese of Castellaneta, Monsignor Sabino Iannuzzi, at the Church of Maria SS. delle Grazie, was followed by a procession through the streets of the historic center. At the Mother Church of San Pietro, Mayor Giuseppe Gasparre renewed the traditional civic rite of handing over the city keys. As is customary, the festivities, enlivened by brass bands and fireworks, continued in the following weeks until the closing at the end of May.
