Patronal Feast of Maria Santissima di Siponto and Sea Festival (Sant'Andrea)

The 189th edition of the Patronal Feast of Maria SS. di Siponto was held in Manfredonia from August 28 to 31, 2025. The civil program kicked off on August 28th with "Illuminiamo la Comunità" in Piazza Giovanni XXIII and the "Note sotto le stelle" concert in Piazza del Popolo, continuing with events for young people at Spiaggia Castello, the NG Wind Orchestra matinée, and fireworks over the sea. On August 31st, Michele Zarrillo performed, in an evening that culminated with the solemn procession of the Madonna di Siponto through the streets of the center.

On September 1st, the Sea Festival celebrated Sant'Andrea, patron saint of fishermen: from the church of Sant'Andrea, in the fishermen's village, the statue of the saint was loaded onto a fishing boat for the sea procession, presided over by Archbishop Monsignor Franco Moscone, with a prayer for those lost at sea and a Eucharistic celebration upon return. The day concluded with the "Manfredonia Pop Line" musical event and fireworks on the Lungomare del Sole in Siponto.
