Edition 2025 — Saint George in Sassuolo

In 2025, Sassuolo also celebrated its patron saint Saint George on April 23rd, with the traditional Holy Mass in the Cathedral in the morning and a day of celebration in Piazza Garibaldi dedicated to families and children. The square came alive with workshops, traditional games, and knight-themed activities, confirming the community-focused formula that characterizes the city's commemoration.

On April 23, 2025, Sassuolo renewed its appointment with the Patron Saint George Festival. The day, as tradition dictates, began with the religious celebration in the Cathedral, the spiritual heart of the Sassuolo community, dedicated precisely to the knight saint.

In the historic center, Piazza Garibaldi hosted activities and entertainment designed for children, in the spirit of a popular, family-friendly festival. An opportunity for the citizens of Sassuolo, in the ceramic district of the Province of Modena, to come together around the figure of their patron saint in Emilia-Romagna.
