Patron Saint Festival of San Massimo Martire

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast

As every year in the second half of August, the Municipality of Roccasecca dei Volsci (province of Latina, Lazio) celebrated its patron saint San Massimo Martire in 2025, whose relics have rested under the high altar of the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo since the late 17th century.

The central moment was, as is customary, the solemn Holy Mass followed by the procession with the statue of the saint along the streets of the village, marked by the marches of the brass band. The evenings saw the historic center come alive with lights, music, and stalls featuring local products, from extra virgin olive oil to goat cheeses.

The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's role as the town's main identity-defining event, a moment of gathering for the community and an opportunity for visitors to discover one of the most charming villages in the Lepini Mountains.
