Pasta Maritata Festival

The third edition of the Pasta Maritata Festival was held in Alezio on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 8:30 PM, in the spaces of Largo Fiera and Via del Santuario. The event, organized by the Comitato Feste Alezio with delegate president Davide Restino, was part of the Festa della Madonna della Lizza celebrations, coinciding with the Lizza dei bambini.

The star was handmade pasta: lasagne, cavatelli, orecchiette, and the traditional minchiareddi (or maccaruni), rolled with an iron rod and served with fresh tomato sauce and grated ricotta. The evening was opened by the Star Dance school, followed at 10:00 PM by a performance by the group I Calanti with Salento pizzica, amidst authentic flavors and a popular festive atmosphere.
