Passitaly in Pantelleria
The Passitaly festival renews its appointment with Mediterranean passito wines in Pantelleria, in the province of Trapani. In September, the island opens the doors of its cellars with wine tours, excursions among the head-trained vineyards, tastings of the famous Passito and typical Pantellerian products (capers, oregano, oils, cheeses), as well as themed dinners in collaboration with Slow Food.
Promoted by the Passitaly in the World Association together with the Municipal Administration and the winegrowers of Pantelleria eroica, the event is strictly Plastic Free and concludes with the Passitaly Sound Festival concerts at the Port of Scauri. An opportunity to experience the island and its heroic viticulture, a UNESCO heritage site, in the heart of Sicily.
