Edition 2025 — Passion of Christ

In 2025, Holy Week in Monte San Biagio once again culminated on the evening of Good Friday, April 18, with the performance of the Passion of Christ in the centre of the Pontine village. A deeply felt event for the community, which gathers every year to relive the Gospel story through sacred folk theatre in an intimate and participatory atmosphere ahead of Easter.

The 2025 edition

In 2025, Good Friday fell on April 18 and marked, as per tradition, the most intense moment of Holy Week in Monte San Biagio, in southern Lazio. The reenactment of the Passion of Christ confirmed its role as a defining event for the village in the province of Latina, capable of drawing residents and visitors from nearby towns in the Gulf of Gaeta to the square.

The bond between the community and this performance encouraged the municipal administration and the Pro Loco to strengthen their support in subsequent years, leading to its inclusion in the Festival of Emotions program funded by the Lazio Region.
