Edition 2025 — Good Friday in Forano

In 2025, Good Friday fell on April 18, on the eve of Easter on April 20. In Forano, in the province of Rieti, the community gathered as per tradition for the re-enactment of the Passion and for the evening procession along the streets of the historic center, an event included in the Municipality's calendar of recurring events and organized by the parish together with the town's inhabitants.

2025 Edition

Good Friday 2025 fell on April 18, with Easter celebrated on April 20. In Forano, in the Bassa Sabina in the province of Rieti, the day followed the usual schedule: the liturgical action of the Passion in the afternoon and, at nightfall, the re-enactment and the procession along the streets and alleys of the historic center.

As in previous years, the event involved families, young people, and the elderly of the town in a rite that remains one of the strongest identity moments for the Forano community. Participation was free and open.
