Edition 2025 — Passio Christi

The 2025 edition of the Passio Christi, dedicated to the theme "The Fragility of Peter," took place in April in Gravina in Puglia, attracting approximately 20,000 spectators from every region of Italy. The living re-enactment of the Passion of Christ animated the historic center with over 200 costumed performers, between Piazza Benedetto XIII and the Madonna della Stella plateau.

The 2025 Passio Christi had as its narrative thread "The Fragility of Peter," focusing on the figure of the apostle torn between faith and human weakness. During the evenings of April, the historic center of Gravina in Puglia once again transformed into the Holy Land of 30 AD, with over 200 performers engaged in the scenes of the Passion: from the entry into Jerusalem to the Last Supper, through to the procession and the crucifixion on the Madonna della Stella plateau. The edition recorded approximately 20,000 visitors and significant social media coverage, confirming the event as one of the most followed sacred appointments in Puglia. The event featured free admission.
