Edition 2025 — Passio Christi

The 21st edition of the Passio Christi was held on April 13, 2025, Palm Sunday, confirming the annual appointment that involves the entire community of Cerignola. As per tradition, over two hundred performers brought the sacred representation of the Passion of Christ to life between Piazza Duomo, the alleys of the Terra Vecchia, and the Piano delle Fosse Granarie, in a journey of faith and memory deeply felt throughout the Capitanata region.

The 21st edition of the Passio Christi in Cerignola took place on Sunday, April 13, 2025, on the occasion of Palm Sunday. In this edition as well, the sacred representation renewed its customary itinerary through the symbolic locations of the city's historic center.

Promoted by the B.V.M. del Buon Consiglio Parish together with the Circolo Oratorio ANSPI Carlo Acutis and the Diocese of Cerignola-Ascoli Satriano, the event once again saw the participation of over two hundred performers, including the parish community, local theater companies, and local associations. From Piazza Duomo to the Piano delle Fosse Granarie, the audience followed the stages of the Passion, from the Via Crucis in the Terra Vecchia to the crucifixion and resurrection, in one of the most attended sacred re-enactments in the province of Foggia.
