Partanna-Selinunte Half Marathon

The 1st edition of the Partanna-Selinunte Half Marathon was held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, marking the debut of an event that immediately saw high participation, with over 520 athletes at the start between Partanna and Selinunte, in the province of Trapani.

In the 21.097 km half marathon, the men's victory went to Daniele Barresi (Atletica 3 Fontane) with a time of 1h18'20, in a tightly contested finish: the first three athletes crossed the line within just nine seconds. Among the women, Maria Grazia Bilello (Universitas Palermo) triumphed. The 8.4 km short race, valid for the Trapani provincial championship, saw Robin Silvia (28'33) and Florinda Mercadante (34'39) take the win.

The event, organized by the ASD Nati Stanchi Runners led by president Benedetto Ingoglia, linked sport to the promotion of the historical and archaeological heritage of the Belice valley from its very first edition.
