Parma Danza

The 2025 edition of Parma Danza offered five performances at the Teatro Regio di Parma, between February and May, with a programme that ranged from the most beloved ballet masterpieces to contemporary dance.

Opening the season on February 5th was the famous Carmen by Compañía Antonio Gades, in the historic choreography by Antonio Gades and Carlos Saura. On February 8th, it was the turn of La Strada, with Alina Cojocaru, inspired by Federico Fellini's film with music by Nino Rota. In March, Aterballetto presented a contemporary triptych with works by Crystal Pite and Angelin Preljocaj, while in May, the audience enjoyed Otello by the Balletto di Roma, directed by Fabrizio Monteverde, and the highly anticipated return of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
