Parco Torcito Living Nativity

The Parco Torcito Living Nativity is a highly anticipated event during the Christmas holidays in Cannole, in the heart of Salento. For the 2024-2025 Christmas edition, the park and the fortified Masseria di Torcito served as the backdrop for the Nativity representation, with costumed actors, detailed settings, and scenes of ancient trades spread along the nature trail.

As per tradition, the path wound through the iconic sites of the farm complex — the Torre Colombaia, the ice houses, and the underground olive mill — in an experience that intertwines nature, history, and faith. The event, with free admission, confirmed itself as one of the most evocative Christmas offerings in the Lecce province hinterland, thanks to the patronage of local authorities and the collaboration of local Pro Loco associations and parishes.
