Edition 2025 — Parco Jazz
The eighth edition of Parco Jazz took place from July 17 to 19, 2025, in Altofonte (PA), at the Campetto Chiesa on Via Lanuzza, just a stone's throw from Piazza Falcone e Borsellino. Three free evenings starting at 9:30 PM, featuring intimate and sophisticated jazz, original Sicilian productions, and infectious swing, organized by the "Parco" Musical Association with the patronage of the Municipality and the Metropolitan City of Palermo.
Parco Jazz 2025: The eighth edition
From July 17 to 19, 2025, Altofonte hosted the eighth edition of Parco Jazz at the Campetto Chiesa on Via Lanuzza. Three free evenings starting at 9:30 PM, dedicated to classic jazz and swing.
The program night by night
- Thursday, July 17 - "Ensemble" of the "Parco" Musical Association, with tributes to jazz and swing greats such as Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, and George Gershwin.
- Friday, July 18 - "Sinatra swing easy", with Palermo crooner Vicio Rinella, accompanied by Massimo Scalici on piano, Massimiliano Barbera on double bass, and Giuseppe Madonia on drums, in a journey through the Great American Songbook, also interpreted by Frank Sinatra.
- Saturday, July 19 - "The Swing Boop", a band from Palermo featuring the Italo-Cape Verdean voice of Teresa Di Lorenzo Sousa and instrumentalists Giuseppe Ricotta (piano), Dario Ammirata (double bass), and Anthony Reina (drums and percussion), with a repertoire that ranges from rock to pop, finding its common thread in swing.
Admission was free until capacity was reached, confirming the festival as one of the most followed musical events of the Altofonte summer.
