Edition 2025 — Papaveritivo

The third edition of Papaveritivo took place in May 2025 in the Crotte hamlet of Chianocco, confirming the formula of the spring gastronomic walk through the wheat and poppy fields of the middle Susa Valley, with tasting stops featuring local products and folk music.

The 2025 edition of Papaveritivo brought back the well-established spring event dedicated to the agricultural landscape of the Susa Valley to the Crotte hamlet in Chianocco. Participants followed the easy 2.5 km route through the blooming wheat fields, with the traditional gastronomic stops featuring local cured meats, bread, jams, and honey.

As per tradition, the walk was enriched by the presence of a historical-naturalistic guide and the Occitan and folk music of the upper Susa Valley, in a convivial atmosphere that combined flavors, nature, and local culture. The event was organized by the Chianocco Celebration Committee.
