Edition 2025 — Pantofola Festival

In December 2025, the Pantofola Festival of Lercara Friddi took place over two weekends, December 14-15 and 21-22, in conjunction with the Christmas markets. The historic center hosted tastings of the typical pastry, traditional flavor trails, wooden stalls with local crafts and products, in a Christmas atmosphere that attracted visitors from the entire Palermo district.

The 2025 edition of the Pantofola Festival was held in Lercara Friddi (PA) over two weekends in December, December 14-15 and 21-22, combined with the village's Christmas markets. For the occasion, the Municipality published a call for applications for the allocation of wooden stalls intended for market exhibitors.

In the historic center, gastronomic stands alternated with traditional "flavor trails", tastings of the pantofola — the village's signature pastry made with almonds, chocolate, and candied fruit — and the characteristic Christmas markets. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Lercara Friddi together with the Municipality, confirmed its role as a highly anticipated event in the Christmas calendar of central-western Sicily.
