Paniccia

In 2025, the Paniccia of Vocca was part of the rich calendar of the Valsesia Carnival, which saw numerous villages in the valley — from Varallo to Quarona, from Scopa to Piode — prepare and distribute the typical soup to the population. In Vocca, the Carnival Committee once again hosted the traditional Paniccia day, with cooking in large cauldrons and free distribution.

Faithful to the charitable spirit of its origins, the 2025 edition confirmed the Paniccia as a central moment of community life in this small mountain village in the Valsesia region, Vercelli province: an opportunity for residents, masked participants, and volunteers to meet in the heart of the Alpine winter.
