Pane Cunzato Festival

The 2025 edition of the Pane Cunzato Festival was held in Misiliscemi, in the province of Trapani, in early August. The festival featured the classic Sicilian seasoned bread—durum wheat bread with extra virgin olive oil, tomatoes, oregano, anchovies, and cheese—prepared on the spot at the food stalls. The evening, enlivened by music and moments of open-air conviviality, attracted residents and visitors alike, confirming pane cunzato as one of the gastronomic symbols of the area and strengthening the role of summer festivals in promoting the traditions of Misiliscemi's districts.
