Edition 2025 — Pane Condito Festival

The 2025 edition of the Pane Condito Festival took place in August in Piazza XI Febbraio in Castiglione di Sicilia. As per tradition, stalls opened in the evening for the tasting of various types of bread seasoned with local extra virgin olive oil, typical products, and local wine, followed by live musical entertainment. Admission was free.

Pane Condito Festival 2025

In the summer of 2025, Castiglione di Sicilia renewed its appointment with the Pane Condito Festival, hosted in the central Piazza XI Febbraio. Local baker stalls opened in the evening, offering visitors fragrant bread seasoned with extra virgin olive oil produced on the slopes of Mount Etna, along with local products and regional wine.

The evening, with free admission and organized by the Municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, featured tastings and live musical entertainment, confirming the festival as one of the most beloved gastronomic events in the Etna hinterland in the province of Catania.
