Edition 2025 — Pan&Vin of Padernello
In January 2025, the Pan&Vin of Padernello renewed the Epiphany bonfire ritual: the community of Padernello di Paese (TV) gathered around the large fire organized by the Gruppo San Gottardo, enjoying mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and the reading of the faìve, according to the peasant tradition of the Marca Trevigiana.
The 2025 edition of Pan&Vin in Padernello confirmed the hamlet's attachment to this ancient ritual. The bonfire lit by the Gruppo San Gottardo brought together young and old on the eve of Epiphany, with the usual convivial atmosphere of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts.
As every year, the fire's sparks — the faìve — were observed to draw omens for the year just begun, following a tradition widespread throughout Veneto.
